Week 39

How far along: 39 weeks 5 days

Estimated size of baby: Still a Watermelon (19-22 in, 7+ lbs.) I feel like she has grown a bunch in the last few days!

Total weight gain: +32

Maternity clothes? Whatever is comfortable.

Stretch marks? When she dropped I earned a few stretch marks on my lower belly. They aren't too bad so I think they will fade somewhat.

Sleep: Sleeping better now that I have been given an antibiotic to kick the sinus infection. I can sort of breath again.

Miss Anything? Being able to walk around and it not hurt. Haha. She is sitting so low it is pushing on my bladder every time I take a step. It makes me waddle. (Quack, Quack!!)

Movement: I just don't know how she moves in there as much as she does. I didn't think there was anymore room left, but she finds room by pushing everything else around. It really hurts sometimes.

Food cravings: Not really any cravings, but I have wanted home cooking. I just can't eat out anymore.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show? Yes, but I really really feel bigger than my belly cast looks. I think of myself as larger than I really am I guess. I was surprised.

Labor Signs: Like last week we had another get your hopes up moment. I had contractions every 3-4 mins apart for hours and I thought that my water was leaking. Turns out it was just a bladder infection causing the contractions and it was not my water leaking. Luckily the antibiotic for my sinus infection was the same one I needed to take for the bladder infection. No wonder I have been feeling so bad and tired lately. My body has been fighting multiple infections on top of building a little human. :(

Belly Button in or out? Still in. 

Wedding rings on or off? Off :(

Mood: Just ready!!

Best moment this week: Having the antibiotics kick in. I have started to feel a little better and have an ounce more energy :)

Weekly Wisdom: Same as last week: Don't get your hopes up, she will come into this world when she is ready to come. She is already ruling our lives like a little princess and she isn't even here yet!!

Looking forward to: Our doctor's appt Monday. We are supposed to discuss being induced so we can finally get her here! Hopefully we will have her here within the week. I am also looking forward to finally giving her a name once we see her!

1st Father's Day

For Father's Day I gave Stephen a card, a children's book titled "I love you Daddy" and a belly casting kit. It has nothing to do with father's day but I did get him an Atlanta Braves tee and a new ipod cord also. :)
For weeks we had been talking about how Stephen really wanted to make a belly cast, but I find them a bit weird. I just couldn't figure out who would make one or why. I mean what do people do with them after they make them. I looked at pictures of some finished casts and how they were decorated. I guess some of them were kind of cute.  I still don't know what you do with them. A pinata maybe ;) Hmmm...anyway I finally broke down and bought the kit. We made the cast and here are our results. We still haven't settled on how to decorate it, but we will keep you posted.

Week 38

How far along: 38 weeks 5 days

Estimated size of baby: Still a Watermelon (19-22 in, 7+ lbs.) 

Total weight gain: +30

Maternity clothes? Whatever is comfortable.

Stretch marks? A huge fan of belly butter

Sleep: If it weren't for the sinus infection, I would be sleeping pretty good this week.

Miss Anything? Wearing jeans. For some reason I have wanted to wear jeans this week. I am not about to buy a pair of maternity jeans at this point.

Movement: She sits still most of the day and moves a lot in the evening and late at night. Uh oh!!

Food cravings: Watermelon

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope

Have you started to show? Welllll...I may have a little bit of a baby bump hehe.

Labor Signs: Monday night around 11:30 I started having contractions. Around 1:30 they were 3-4 minutes apart for over an hour, so I called the doctor. They had us come in to the hospital around 4 am. After being monitored for a little over an hour I was sent home. The contractions were not strong enough to make me dilate. :( So no baby yet!! I continued to have contractions for over 24 hours, but they became irregular and then quit.

Belly Button in or out? Still in. My hernia pokes out a little more now. It hurts so bad sometimes with all of this stretching my belly is doing.

Wedding rings on or off? Off :(

Mood: A little ticked we don't have her here yet. I am so anxious to hold her.

Best moment this week: Spending the weekend on the boat. It was nice to relax and soak up a few rays.

Week 37

How far along: 37 weeks 5 days

Estimated size of baby: Still a Watermelon (19-22 in, 6.5+ lbs.)  There is no way she is smaller than 7 lbs right now!

 

Total weight gain: my scale still says +31, but at the doc this week they said I had lost .6 lbs. This is normal the last month according to them.

Maternity clothes? Wearing dresses and yoga pants/shorts

Stretch marks? Still just the ones I see in the right light. I use a lot of belly butter still :)

Sleep: Not good at all. I am exhausted! I have to pee all of the time. :(

Miss Anything? Nothing really.

Movement: She moves a lot, but there are times where she doesn't move at all. She is sleeping and gearing up for Delivery day! My whole belly moves when she does.

Food cravings: nothing this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week

Have you started to show? I may explode any day now.

Labor Signs: Really intense braxton hicks contractions. I was timing them the other day because they got so bad. I also felt so achy last night that I felt like I had the flu. Google said was a sign labor was coming soon!!

Wedding rings on or off? Off :(

Mood: Anxious and restless. Time to get her here!!

Best moment this week: Spending time with family!! :) We got to see my nieces and nephew, Uncle Phillip and Aunt Amanda, and little bunny's great grandparents.

Weekly Wisdom: When you are anxious about something coming it seems to take forever to get here. I am so ready for her to get here that these last few weeks have been so long.

Looking forward to: Her arrival! 2 weeks left! I am starting to think she will be as stubborn as I was and come after her due date. Shew not sure I can make it that long!

Nursery First Look

This is a first look at Little Bunny Reynolds nursery! It's not quite done but it is on its way. We still have things to hang on the walls, curtains to put up, and a dust ruffle to put on the crib. It is definitely a princess room :)

Week 36

How far along: 36 weeks 5 days

Estimated size of baby: Watermelon (19-22 in, 6.5 lbs.) I feel like she is bigger though!!

Total weight gain: +31 

Maternity clothes? Wearing dresses and yoga pants/shorts

Stretch marks? In the right light I think I can still see one or two ;)

Sleep: Not so well. I get up a lot to use the bathroom and I completely wake up every time I have to roll over. It is like exercise!!

Miss Anything? Nothing really.

Movement: Still moving a lot!! She moved so much at the doctor that they had a hard time getting a good reading on her heartbeat. It was 146. She is active!!

Food cravings: pop tarts and biscuits with gravy.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing this week!!

Have you started to show? More and more everyday.

Labor Signs:  Still just some braxton hicks. The Doc says I am dilated, but not enough to matter.

Belly Button in or out? Still in.

Wedding rings on or off? Off. It's so sad! I can wear another ring that Stephen gave me, but it is just not the same!!

Mood: Anxious for her to get here!!

Best moment this week: Getting the nursery put together!!  :)

Weekly Wisdom: Heartburn sucks and Maloxx is a wonderful invention!!
